Super Hamza / Privacy

Privacy Policy

Super Hamza is a game for children. We built it so that it doesn't collect personal information at all. This policy explains what that means in practice, in plain words.

Effective date: 28 October 2026

In brief

  • The game collects no personal information. It never asks for a name, an email address, an age, a photo, a voice recording, a location or contacts, and it doesn't read your device's advertising ID or other identifiers.
  • No ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts and no chat.
  • No internet. The game doesn't connect to the internet and doesn't ask Android for permission to.
  • Progress stays on your device. It's saved only in the game's own storage on the phone or tablet. We never see it. A grown-up can erase it in the Parent Corner, and uninstalling the game removes it.
  • Android's own backup may include that saved progress in your Google account's device backup, if backup is turned on. That's between you and Google; we never receive it.
  • If you email us, we use your message only to answer you.

1. Who we are

Super Hamza is made and published by EratechIT ("we", "us"). For anything about privacy, write to [email protected]. Our postal address is available on request by email.

For the few things described below where we do handle personal information (emails you send us, and Google Play's sales records), EratechIT is responsible for it (the "controller", in data protection terms).

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the Super Hamza app for Android and this website, superhamza.eratechit.com. It doesn't cover Google Play or Android itself, which have their own privacy policies.

3. What the game collects

Nothing. The game doesn't collect, send or share any information about your child, you or your device. In particular:

  • there are no accounts, sign-ins, profiles or usernames;
  • there's no advertising, and no advertising or analytics code (no SDKs that track or measure players);
  • there are no in-app purchases;
  • there's no chat, no way to contact other players and no way to share anything from the game;
  • there are no links out of the game to websites or other apps;
  • the game engine's crash reporting is turned off, and because the game has no internet access, nothing can be sent from it.

Android's own crash reports. If you've allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google (an Android setting, not part of the game), Android may report a crash or freeze to Google, and Google Play gives developers summaries of them (for example the device model, the Android version and where the game stopped). These reports come from Android under Google's terms, not from the game. They don't identify you or your child, and we use them only to fix problems.

4. What's saved on your device

So that children can carry on where they left off, the game saves a small file in its own app storage on the device. The game never sends it anywhere. It contains:

  • progress: which levels are finished, the most Noor Tokens found in each, the lesson cards unlocked, the good deeds done, the hidden places found, the outfits unlocked and the gifts used;
  • the total minutes played (shown in the Parent Corner);
  • settings: language, sound, text size, contrast, motion, touch button and control choices, and the Parent Corner's switches.

It doesn't contain a name, an age or anything else that identifies a child. You can remove it at any time:

  • Erase progress: in the Parent Corner, choose Erase progress, then Yes, erase. Progress is erased; settings are kept.
  • Erase everything: uninstall the game, or open Android's Settings > Apps > Super Hamza > Storage > Clear storage. (Menu names vary a little between devices.)

5. Android's device backup

Android can back up apps' data to your Google account, so it can be restored on a new device. The game allows this, so if device backup is turned on, the save file described above may be included. The backup is made by Android and stored in your own Google account under Google's terms (on Android 9 and later, with a screen lock set, these backups are end-to-end encrypted). EratechIT never receives or has access to it. You can turn device backup off, or delete backups, in Android's settings or your Google account.

6. Permissions

The game doesn't ask for any permission that Android would prompt you about: no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or files. It doesn't request internet access.

7. Buying the game

Super Hamza is sold through Google Play for a one-time price. Google handles the purchase, payment and any refund under Google's Privacy Policy; we never see payment card details.

Like every developer, we receive sales and financial reports from Google Play, which we need for accounting, tax and refunds. These list each order with details such as the order number, date, item, price and the buyer's country (and, for some countries, region or postal code). We use them only for those purposes and keep them for as long as tax law requires. They relate to the adult account that made the purchase, never to a child's play, and nothing in the game is linked to them.

8. If you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if your email shows it, and whatever you put in your message. We use them only to answer you and help with your question (our legitimate interest in supporting our customers). We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share your email with anyone except our email service provider, which stores our mail for us.

Please don't send us personal information about your child. We don't need it to help you. If a child writes to us, we'll reply only to ask them to have a parent or guardian contact us, and delete the message.

9. This website

This website has no cookies, no scripts, no analytics, no adverts, no embedded videos or social buttons, and no fonts or images from other companies: everything is served from superhamza.eratechit.com. Like any website, our web host's servers may record technical details of each request (such as the IP address, the browser type and the page requested) in short-lived logs, used only to keep the site running and secure.

Some pages link to other websites, such as Google Play. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

10. Children's privacy laws

Super Hamza is made for children aged about 5 to 12, and we've designed it to meet children's privacy laws by not collecting their personal information in the first place.

  • United States (COPPA): the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act requires verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children under 13. The game collects no personal information from children (or anyone), so there's nothing to consent to, review or delete with us.
  • European Union and United Kingdom (GDPR and UK GDPR): the game doesn't process any personal data about players, so no consent is needed and no profile of a child exists. Where we do process personal data (emails you send us, and Google Play's sales records), we do so to answer you (legitimate interests) and to meet our tax and accounting duties (legal obligation).
  • UK Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children's Code): we follow its standards by design. Privacy is the default and can't be lowered; nothing is collected, shared or used for profiling; there's no location tracking; there are no "nudges" to buy, share or keep playing (instead, the Parent Corner offers an optional break reminder); grown-up settings sit behind a grown-up gate; and this policy has a short summary in plain words.

11. Your rights

Because the game sends us nothing, we hold no information about you or your child from playing it, so there's nothing for us to show you, correct or delete. Everything is on your device, under your control (see section 4).

For emails you've sent us, you can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold, or object to how we use it, by writing to [email protected]. We'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to your data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, the authority in your country.

12. How long we keep things

  • Saved progress stays on your device until you erase it, clear the game's storage or uninstall the game.
  • Emails are deleted within 12 months after your question is resolved, unless we need one longer for a refund or legal reason.
  • Google Play sales records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

13. Security

The surest protection is not having data in the first place, and the game is built that way: its save file never leaves your device through the game. We take reasonable steps to keep the few emails and records we do hold secure, and only the people at EratechIT who need them can see them.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change how the game handles information, we'll update this policy first, change the effective date at the top, and describe any important change in the game's release notes on Google Play. We'll never start collecting children's personal information without first meeting the law's requirements, including parental consent where it's needed.
